Graphic Designs by Emma Rarick
This series of graphic designs, documents my dyslexic perspective, while illuminating the fact that everyone’s experience with dyslexia is uniquely their own.
My dyslexia shows up in the spacing & blurring of words, the repetition of words, and the colors I see behind the words while reading on screens. Although these artworks may be difficult for some to read, I have learned how to read each of these statements fluently. As this is my normal.
Each body of text is an artist statement written by me from a previous collection of artwork I have created. Each statement is authentically my own thoughts through the perspective of my own eyes without the utilization of AI.
