ACTS OF SERVICE

“Actions speak louder than words.” - Gary Chapman

People who speak the love language of acts of service find love is what the people around them are willing to do for them. Those who speak the language of acts of service are always willing to help out to make someone else’s life easier and they want the people around them to do the same.

Unfortunately, acts of service is the most difficult love language for the majority of the population to recognize as love. A person’s difficulty registering kindness as love comes from the way in which we often see kindness through the media around us. Normally, kind acts are represented in friendly or parental roles before its represented as a lover’s role in common media. For this reason, people who’s main love language is acts of service are often friend-zoned while trying to find love; so it is important to learn multiple love languages if acts of service resonates most with you in order to be more direct in your intentions.

Signs that this is your love language: Are you a caregiver, doctor/medical assistant, helper, advocate of kindness? If so, there is a higher chance that you speak love through acts of service.
